A DAILY PRAYER

Dear Lord,

So far today I have done alright!

I haven't gossiped, haven't lost my temper,

haven't gotten caught with my pants down around my ankles,

my fingers where they shouldn't be.

I haven't robbed, raped, rioted or murdered.

I haven't been greedy, grumpy, itchy or bumpy

and

I am very thankful for that.

But in a few minutes Lord, old buddy old pal,

I am going to get out of bed,

and from then on,

I'm probably going to be trying to get laid

so

I'm asking you to look the other way.

AMEN
